Product Description

The YW-641NA RF card reader is a universal card reader designed using 13.56M non-contact RF technology. The reader is embedded with Cortex M3 processor and NXP series original chips, ensuring stable and reliable read and write performance. This reader adopts the ModBus-TCP protocol commonly used in PLC equipment, which can be easily connected to industrial control systems. Moreover, this reader fully considers the convenience of PLC equipment interface operation and the operability of secondary development. In order to facilitate users' secondary development, software including computer testing and setup is provided, which supports automatic search for specified types of cards. Users only need to read the card serial number register to easily obtain card number information.

3. Wiring method
The YW-641NA card reader adopts a power supply 2-wire and RJ45 wire connection method, and each wire connection method is defined as follows:

5. Register Address
Card serial number register: 40004~40007, a total of 4 registers.
For a 4-byte card number IC card, the registers occupy 40004 and 40005 registers.
For a 7-byte card number IC card, the register occupies 4000440005400640007 register.
For YW-641NA, by default, only the required card number register needs to be polled. When inserting a card, the corresponding card number register has a non-zero value, and the card reader's green light is on. When there is no card, the corresponding card number register value is 0, and the red light of the card reader is on.

6. About IP addresses
YW-641NA operates over Ethernet, with default IP:
192.168.1.7, Port: 502, IP address can be modified through a webpage
YW-630NA works in slave mode to connect to PLC
Reconfigure the IP address and enter 192.168.1.7 in the browser, as shown in the figure:
A login window will pop up, enter the username admin, password admin, and click login
Click on Local IP Config on the left side to display the IP input box. Enter a new IP and then click OK
After clicking on restart or power on again, the new parameters will take effect
8. Installation
The installation of Modbus card reader YW-641NA is divided into two parts.
There is a 25mm diameter outlet hole on the back of the card reader, which needs to be left in advance during installation to facilitate the outlet. If a standard 86 electrical box can be used on the wall, and if other panels require a hole, the hole diameter should be greater than or equal to 25mm.
After unscrewing the stainless steel screws at the bottom, the product can be divided into two parts, as shown in the following figure:
For parts A and B, first install B using the installation holes in the red box on the wall or panel, then cover part A on part B, and then screw in the bottom stainless steel screws.
